STEFF NEVERS started a country band on a hot summer day in 2002. This dynamic band with it’s roots in traditional country has leanings towards country-rock and Bluegrass.
The band consists of musicians with a long history in different genres. This allows for a high quality of musicianship. Steff’s voice creates an easy recognizable and hard to forget impression.
The American style lyrics by Steff Nevers are marketable both in Norway and throughout the world. Every song has been taken into consideration regarding arrangement. So every single note has that true country feel.
The band is working with an American lyricist with over twenty years of experience in the music business who originates from the Branson, Missouri area.

July 2008:
Steff Nevers signs with Universal Music Norway july 22. The day after his birthday.
Steff Nevers won the competition called Scenekampen '08. And will be performing at Drammen Elvefestival. Wich is the biggest festival in the county. Steff will open the festival on August 23.
June 2008:
Steff Nevers is in a competition called Scenekampen '08. He is competing against 33 other bands in Drammen. Steff is now in the finals and the winner gets to be one of the major acts on Drammen Elvefestival. To watch the battle click here...
McMusic releases a compilation CD june 30th. The title of the album will be "Countrysommer".
The song "One Beer A Day" from Steff's up-coming album will be presented on this album. To see the other artsists. click here..
Steff Nevers signs with Universal Music. The album is planned to be released late this summer or early fall.
February 2008:
Steff reach no. 1 again at NCR's (Norwegian Country Radio) top 10 week 8 with the song "Higher Ground". Steff says he is very excited about all of the good placings at NCR's top 10 list. He wants to thank everyone that has woted for him. Now he is looking forward to release his up-coming album.

Steff Nevers are now planning on making a music video. When the shooting will take place have not yet been decided. But Steff Nevers promise it won't be long.
January 2008:
"The Alphabet Song" got 3rd place Week 3 and 10th place the second week it entered NRC's (Norwegian Country Radio) charts.
New song from Steff Nevers up-coming album to enter Norwegian Country Radio the first week in January. The song with the title "The Alphabet Song" will be a strong candidate to battle amongst the top placements in the chart.
December 2007:
Steff Nevers reached 1st place week 48 on the Norwegian Country Radio charts. The song "Higher Ground" from the up-coming album entered the chart for more than 9 weeks ago and has been in the top twenty since then. Almost 5000 Norwegians and a little more than 2000 Americans gave their votes that week. These are the placing's on NCR charts: one 1st place, three 2ND places, one 8th place, one 14th place and one 17th place.

Steff Nevers has been to Nashville and recorded 11 songs for his up-coming album. When the release of the album will be is still uncertain at this point due to unexpected circumstances. A follow up will be posted in the weeks to come.
